While very porous and pliable, it is also highly resistant to physical stress and deterioration. It was formulated to withstand the harshest weather conditions. As in many synthetics today (e.g. carpets), "BioCide" is a permanent feature of the fiber. It stops the growth of mildew, moss and other fungi in your gutters.
